Unique segmented ring system

Existing kilns run on one-piece tyre rings with an approximate lifetime of 20 years. The method for replacing such tyre rings is a time intensive project. This results in a long downtime and subsequent production loss. In case of an extraordinary replacement or if the kiln should not be cut, a unique solution is required.

Therefore MERTEC engineered the MERtyre. This ring system consists of segments, which will be assembled around the kiln to a complete tyre ring, thus no cut of the kiln required. Swiss precision and the latest Superbolt © technology provide excellent restraint and warrants for performance. Delivery time is just a few weeks, transportation is at lower costs and the installation is very fast. This saves valuable production time and costs.
